The route offers a wide variety of terrain, vegetation, and climate all the way across the nation from the Pacific to the Atlantic. The route is rich in human culture and history – ranging from the Spanish and Mexican influences in California, the ancient indigenous pueblo cultures in Arizona and New Mexico, the imprint of the Spanish conquistadors in Texas, the bayous and French influences of Louisiana, the Old South of Mississippi and Alabama, to America’s oldest city in Florida.

To insure that the maximum amount of funds are allocated to MS, the riders will be enjoying the pleasure of a “simple life”…..staying at campgrounds, churches, and an occasional motel. Along the way, the group will also be involved in service projects to help support those afflicted by MS.  The riders will also be responsible for their own food. 90% of the time that “simple life” means crawling out of your tent each morning,  having fun riding your bike with new found friends, and eating as much as you want (and still lose a few pounds). About 10% of the time we expect to be faced with adversity….mountains to climb, headwinds, heat, and some rain. That 10% is when we will truly be working for all of our sponsors.
